Darebin flag policy review ‘very near’

COUNCILLORS and executives have heard questions from two people challenging the display of the Palestinian flag at Preston City Hall.

Responding to the questions submitted in writing only at the council’s 24 February meeting, City of Darebin Acting Chief Executive Michael Tudball said “the office of the CEO is coordinating the review of the flag policy, so I do take this quite seriously.”
Councillors “will have the opportunity to consider and finalise in the very near future.”
